Carma Amherst is a small spay and neuter group that in the last year has managed to catch and alter 350 cats in the local area. We are the largest no kill animal shelter in Minnesota. We are striving to become a grain free shelter. We have done a lot of research and have found that grain free food helps our animals get and stay healthy. We take in owner surrenders, animals off euthanasia lists, as well as stray or abandoned animals. 20,000 meals could go a long way for us.

Founded in 2003, Animal Rescue of Tracy has found homes for over 3000 homeless cats and dogs using funds and supplies donated by members of our community. 20,000 meals would be an amazing GIFT and allow us to help even more adoptable "fur babies" find their "forever" homes.
AWAG helps pet guardians who are having financial difficulty with vet bills, pet food and more. We have to purchase bags and cans for the dozens of people who call each week. This would allow us to help more people and keep more pets out of the shelters!

We commit to our rescued pets and their new families for t
This would help so much in keeping us in the black. We are funded only from fund raisers and donations. We are a 501c3 no-kill rescue and adoptions center. This would also help in funding medical help for any that need it, like teeth cleaning, if we are not spending on food.
MMSR is a fairly new created 501 rescue after doing independent rescue for about 2 years and helping other rescues. 20,000 meals would be a great start for this rescue. We are a small rescue that has saved over 400 animals in just 2 1/2 years. A large portion of our budget is spent on food. With more funds available for medical care we could take in more animals. A food donation like this would be an enormous blessing for our small rescue.

We saw a way to save thousands of lives. Getting off our feet has been challenging. We had a cold winter, and the oil expense was hard to keep up with. We have 40 dog kenn

Here at SCR, we take in roughly 300-400 cats a year, and occasionally a few dogs if the need arises. While we have a decent donor base, food is a never ending necessity and when funds are low, it all comes out of pocket. We are a small, all volunteer foster based rescue. We exist wholly on donations and adoption fees. We used to be part of a food bank, but it closed and are paying retail for food for our 50 to 60 dogs. We provide everything for our fosters and purchasing food has become quite a burden and prohibiting us from saving some dogs with medical needs.
Not only for all of our foster homes who currently have our animals but also, everyday we get calls for help from people who have animals that they need to rehome because they can't afford to feed them. We take them food, ask them to care for the animal until we can find a foster or forever home for the animal. Food is our third highest bill, 1st i

We are a foster based rescue with limited funds. We have had a few large medical bills. Our foster families have been purchasing their own food and litter for the last year due to our limited funds., and this would be wonderful, to be able to.supply our foster families with food.
If we take a dog into our rescue he/she is our responsibility for the animal's life. Unfortunately, because of this, we have a number of Senior dogs. As in most rescues our biggest costs are medical and food. All but one of our Seniors are large dogs and this means more food needed. Help with our food costs would cut down on one of our highest expe

Our 501c-3 rescues locally in the largest, most financially challenged County In CA and nationally per Capita. Because if this we get little or no donations especially with food donations. 20,000 meals would be a dream for us for the pets in our care. Good quality food is a must in a shelter or rescue, and sometimes the budget falls short and we have to purchase a less quality food. 20,000 meals would feed us for 6 months. Budgets can then be focused on other parts of the shelter. Thank you for the opportunity to enter.

They care very much for their pets and Noelle does amazing work helping them.
