We are a 501c3 non-profit corporation who over the last 4 years has worked diligently with Mercer County Animal Shelter to try and transform it into a life preserving shelter instead of one that is labeled ?high kill?.? When we first began the shelter had more than a 60 percent euthanasia rate for dogs and much higher for cats. This year (2015) through the first seven months, we have only lost 11 animals to euthanasia. We are making this happen by working closely with the shelter and surrounding communities to provide resources such as fosters, transports and vetting.
