e are a Non-Profit Organization run by Volunteers The adoption donation is used to partially recover the costs involved in rescuing. These costs include but are not limited to: Shelter fees, spay/neuter, food, housing, vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, and any vet exams or medical care that the dog may have required. We would not have been able to save the life of the dog you are interested in without the adoption donation from another that came before him/her. All of the canines that we take in are screened for behavioral issues and health problems prior to permanent placement with their new mommies and daddies. Behavioral screening means that we check to see if they get along with kids, the elderly, cats, dogs, and other animals. It also entails checking to see if they nip, are scared of fast movement, are jumpy, don’t like to be touched in certain ways, chew excessively, etc. Medical screening means that we have them de-wormed, current on vaccines, free of parasites and communicable disease, are treated for pre-existing conditions, and declared healthy within manageable limits.

Loving Grace Rescue is a small rescue group located in Southern California. Our rescue has no more than a few dogs (and a cat here and there) at any given time. We are committed to remaining a small rescue so we can give each of our rescues the personal attention he or she needs and deserves. Our mission is to rescue those who are destined to die the day we enter the shelter. They literally have just hours to live. We take these animals, whose future consists of walking down that long, lonely hallway to the end of its life, and just by removing the animal from that situation and giving him or her a chance to shine, we are able to find amazing, loving homes.

German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC) is a non-profit 501c(3) charity organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing purebred German Shepherd Dogs that have no where else to turn. We are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. We are funded entirely by private donations and receive no government support. Dogs for adoption are housed in foster home situations and in private boarding facilities. Currently, we do not own our own kennel facility, but our dream is to have one some day so that we can eliminate the tremendous expense associated with boarding the dogs while they wait for their forever families.

MeoowzResQ holds Adoption Events with Kitten and Cat Adoptions at several locations. Pet Supply: Saturdays 11am ? 4pm.

We are a group of people pulling the animals from the pts list from high kill local shelters. We also pull the injured and very sick animals and get them the proper Vet care and then nurse them back to health before we adopt them out. This is very important to us and we pride ourselves on saving those animals in need and finding the the perfect “forever” homes for them. We are foster home based at this time, but are in the market to purchase and start a sanctuary and rehab facility. We will still have the foster homes once this happens. We are also in the process of filing for our 501c3 status.

Maggy Boo Rescue was started in 2001. We love dogs, always have. We also have a “Small Animal” portion to our rescue. We are Fire Department, Police Department, and Civilian workers in the Los Angeles area. We rescue dogs from Watts, Compton, Los Angeles and other cities. We rescue dogs from shelters in the low income areas. We see past the dirt, and polish the pup for the new home. We get pure bred dogs, and mixed breed. We find injured dogs, sick dogs and healthy dogs. We take owner relinquished dogs too. We often spay/neuter dogs for low income families. We give shots to low income families.

Southern California Greyhound Adoption Legion was established for the primary purpose of assisting in the placement of ex-racing greyhounds by fostering Hemopet long-term kennel residents and owner returned greyhound companions.  When a foster home is open and no appropriate Hemopet greyhound is available, a greyhound may be transferred from another greyhound rescue group.
