I am the founder and President of BMR. I started the rescue after losing my dad suddenly in 2008. He was Brendan and I wanted to honor him and follow my passion and dream of saving dogs. Our rescue saves dogs from high kill shelters and also owner surrenders. We are small foster based rescue who work with just a few dogs at a time. We take them in and the foster families will spent some time with the dogs getting to know them. After that we will list them for adoption. This insure us we are placing the dog with the perfect family. That they are a match. We also assist in transporting dogs for other rescue groups as they pass through NJ on their way to their rescue/foster homes in New England.
