Emergency Hotline for Dog & Cat Rescues

Call : (888) 440-6467

The Companion Animal Aid and Placement Society/Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CAAPS/SPCA) was established to save the lives of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats as well as those relinquished to CAAPS/SPCA by families who can no longer care for them, in the Palouse region. Our organization does not have a permanent shelter. All our companion animals live with temporary care givers until adoption; we operate a telephone help line and match companion animals with people. To meet our companion animals you and your family is/are invited to drive or fly to meet the companion animal you are interested in. Public education of spaying, neutering and otherwise caring for companion animals is one of our primary goals. We are an all volunteer, non-profit, charitable organization. If you wish to donate time or money, or to become a foster parent/adopter/member, please e-mail
