Dog Town was originally started as a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming facility. In 2013 we decided that too many dogs were being euthanized in Philadelphia area shelters for no reason, other than space, and began pulling dogs from the shelter and keeping them in our facility until they were adopted. It snowballed, as more people became aware of our rescue, and now we are opening an adoption center in the adjacent building as well.
