Friends of Plumas County animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving impounded animals a safe environment and reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through the spay and neuter programs. At the local shelter we have built a number of enclosures for the cats and play yards for the dogs. Friend?s takes animals into our own rescue site where we spay and neuter, give first vaccinations and then re-home the animals. When we have the available monies we also help those in need of financial assistance spay and neuter their personal pets. Our adoptable animals are offered FREE to approved homes, and survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters.
