Good Shepherd Animal Refuge is primarily a foster program for those undergoing long term medical treatment or hospice care. Therefore, any animal we post are not rescued from a shelter rather they have been surrendered by their owner because they can no longer care for them. Most of our pets were well cared for and had loving homes. Keep this in mind when adopting a pet from us. These pets would love to have a family again,
