Oglala Pet Project (OPP) is a 100% volunteer driven, community based non-profit organization located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Click on these links to learn more about our work as featured in the Argus Leader, about Pine Ridge or the story as recently told by ABC’s Diane Sawyer on 20/20. Despite daily life struggles, the Oglala people have tremendous spirit for all animals. OPP was founded to serve the people here and their pets through education, spay/neuter support, pet health resources, and the re-homing or networking of abandoned, abused or unwanted pets. Our work would not be possible without the volunteers who live on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and the support of individuals and organizations off the reservation. Working together we can make a difference. Look around our website and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. OPP says thank you – Philámayaye!
