Southern Jewel Dog Rescue is a non-profit dog rescue organization which was started by Shelly Bookwalter of Last Chance Highway on Animal Planet. Shelly is committed to saving as many dogs as possible and finding them loving forever homes. Shelly and her volunteers rescue dogs on “death row” both in the South and in New England.
