TAPA advocates for the humane treatment of feral and stray cats, and promotes TNR (Trap Neuter Return), a humane solution to the overpopulation of cats in HRM. Our goal is to rescue colony kittens and provide them with medical care, and then place them for adoption. Adult cats that are not suitable for adoption are humanely live trapped, spayed, neutered, leukemia tested, vaccinated, ear notched for identification and then returned to their colony.
