“Please, Don’t Buy, Don’t Breed – ADOPT!” In 19 years, The Milo Foundation has rescued and found homes for more than 23,000 animals that faced euthanasia in California’s high-kill shelters. We have a 283 acre sanctuary in Mendocino County. We have a new Intake and Adoption Center in Point Richmond CA. designed for rescue, including dogs? yards, cat rooms, and our own 3/4 acre Dog Park! We are still working on the space but it is where Bay Area folks can come adopt some great animals as well as volunteer! Milo also has outreach adoptions every weekend in the East Bay and often locations in Marin have some of our felines available.
