Who:Robert and Jaymeey Hatfield, Founders of On The Other Side of the Fence, a non profit corporation dealing in the prevention of cruelty to animals and global education have been rescueing animals for six years. We incorporated September 2006 in Washington State and have recently moved to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where there is a need for animal rescues and low cost spay and neuter services. Along with our Secretary Bobbi Conner, we will all start college to become Veterinarian this Year. What: Helping to eliminate the needless suffering of animals and lend a hand to our community. Our educational workshops will help teach children and adults how to better understand, care for and respect our planets animals while teaching them other important issues such as self sustainability and gloobal hunger issues. Why: The pet overpopulation epidemic is so staggering that for every animal born in the United States to have a home each and every human being would have to own 6 dogs and 9 cats. So, in actuality a family of four…2 parents and 2 small children would have to own 24 dogs and 36 cats. We Love our earth and all of the creatures in it.
