Primarily we pull cats/dogs from the overcrowded municipal shelters when they are about to be euthanized usually for simple colds as space in all of these shelters is an issue. By freeing up a cage, we actually provide a temporary cage to the next cat or dog coming in. Most of these are wonderful family pets that are given up–they deserve another chance at life.
