Florida All Retriever Rescue (FARR) & Friends, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit, ALL volunteer, rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted and neglected dogs throughout Florida, with a special focus on retriever breeds. Our foster and adoptable dogs are all located in the Tampa area.

We specialize in the Retriever breeds (Labradors, Goldens, Flat Coats, Curly Coats, Duck Tollers), but you will also see other large breed dogs from time to time. All of our dogs will be spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested before adoption. If they are heartworm positive, we treat the dogs fully. Most of our dogs are also microchipped, but it depends on the shelter we get them from. Almost all of our dogs are from local shelters in FL and southern GA where there is a HUGE abundance of labs that unfortunately are allowed to breed and breed and breed. So, most of our dogs come out of those shelters that are overcrowded with very little chance of adoptions.

Independent Labrador Retriever Rescue of Southern California rescues and rehomes Retrieving breeds in the Southern California area including LA County, Santa Barbara area, and Orange County. We are dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted Labradors, Goldens, and other purebred Retrieving breeds from area shelters when they are on death’s door. We take in dogs from families no longer willing or able to care for their dogs and treat dogs with myriad health issues.

Daisy’s Place Retriever Rescue is dedicated to saving and finding loving homes for Retrievers (and Retriever mixes) six years and older. Occassionally we do take dogs into rescue that are under six years old – some of them come to us from shelters where their correct age was misjudged and sometimes we just can’t help but save the younger ones from certain death – we affectionately call these younger honorary Daisy Dogs, ‘rosebuds’. We are an all volunteer non-profit organization and all of our dogs are in private foster homes.
