The main goal of 2CVR is to match Vizslas in need of forever homes with loving families. We are dedicated to providing rehabilitation, medical care, and in-home foster care for abandoned or abused purebred Vizslas or Vizsla mixes. We do not board our rescues in a kennel environment. We strive to educate the community regarding responsible dog ownership, including: the spay/neuter or companion animals, assisting shelters by promoting awareness, working with shelter managers/directors in our targeted area, and bringing shelter dogs on board as quickly as possible.
Airsongs Angels, Inc is a 501 (c)3 Non Profit Vizsla Rescue in the Georgia area dedicated to improving the lives of Vizsla by bringing them current on Vaccinations, Spay/Neuter Programs and Careful Re-homing!
Vizsla Club of Northern California Rescue (VCNC) is a regional, club-sponsored rehoming service for Vizslas surrendered by owners who can no longer care for their pet. We also sometimes assist with placement of Vizslas in animal shelters.
Dogwood primarily re-homes sporting or gun dogs like Pointer breeds, Vizslas, and Weimaraners. We also rescue “crosses” of these breeds: Dobermans, English Pointers, German Short-haired Pointers, German Wire-haired Pointers, Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, Pudelpointers, Weimaraners, Retrievers, Setters, Vizslas, Spinoni Italianos, Bracco Italianos, Bracque Francais. When we have available resources, we do help with other breeds of dogs.
Friends for Pets Foundation is a volunteer, non-profit charitable organization. We are dedicated to providing veterinary care, comprehensive evaluations and adoptive homes for the sporting breeds of Weimaraners, Golden Retrievers, Dalmatians, Pointers, & Labs who are abandoned, mistreated, neglected, or left in pounds throughout California. Rescue Services are also provided to dogs in acute need of placement due to family circumstances. Since its founding, Friends for Pets Foundation has provided rescue, care and adoption services for more than 3,000 dogs. We average 55 dogs in our kennels.
