Collie Rescue of the Carolinas is a non-profit, breed specific organization that provides a place of refuge for Collies that have been abandoned, taken to shelters or dog pounds, or given up for whatever reason. CRC evaluates the Collies, gives them medical attention, spays or neuters them, then makes them available for adoption.
We are a non profit Collie and Sheltie rescue willing to work with other rescues for the commitment of finding every Collie and sheltie its own personal home. Saying that we believe every collie and sheltie are different, as are people and finding the fit for each dog can be hard. However we are not rigid to a complete set of guidelines or procedures. Our number one standard is to do the best for the dog and give support for the new owner. Provide loving nurturing foster care, a strong commitment to bring all intake collies to optimal health and to ensure every placement is a good fit for collie and owner.
