We are unique in that we are a pro hunting rescue. I am a big advocate of hunting companions being pets first, working dogs second. All animals in my possession are or will be spayed/neutered. I do not and will not breed. Views on hunting with dogs are not up for discussion, it is legal here, and if a good home doing what makes the dog happy is available, I think it is worth a shot. If you can’t stop it, work to improve it is how I feel. We hope to have a working, open relationship with dog hunters and horse owners in our area to improve communication and education for everyone involved. Mississippi needs stronger cruelty laws, and to get this we are going to need as many people standing together as possible!
Hound Dog Rescue Corporation (HDRC) provides for the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing, of unwanted, neglected and/or abused Hound and other dogs.
Next to Pit Bulls, hound dogs are the hardest to place. The population of these dogs is profound in the southern states especially…We evaluate, transport north, treat and rehab (including spay/neuter) these hounds and seek out appropriate forever homes.

The Last Dog Rescue is an allbreed rescue with a focus on hounds. Hounds are commonly mistreated, and not thought of as pets. They are typically forced to live outside and when they no longer hunt they are abandoned, killed or end up in a shelter where they typically are put down. They are the LAST dog out of the shelter (if at all). By the time they get to us they are sick, scared, and skinny. We spay/neuter/microchip and vaccinate them. We provide any vetting needed so that they can have a clean healthy new start. Our fosters provide vital love and care. The dogs learn to be a cherished pet rather than just a discarded tool. The hounds have also inspired us to take in some of the sickest dogs, these dogs have a lesser chance of being adopted due to illness or injury They too are vetted, fostered by the same caring wonderful fosters until they move on to a forever home.
All Hounds On Deck, 501(c)3, rescues hounds from death, provides complete veterinary care for each dog and places them in homes around the U.S. and Canada.
Huckleberry Hound Dog Rescue of El Paso is a non-profit dog rescue. We are a No Kill rescue so all the dogs stay with us until their forever home is found.
Grateful Greyhounds is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating the public on ex-racing greyhounds, all sighthounds including Spanish galgos and podencos, and to promote the adoption of these dogs as pets.

Our Primary rescue effort is finding loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds. In addition we also have experience living with and placing other sight hounds such as Italian Greyhounds, whippets, and Borzoi’s.
All About Them Giant Breed Rescue, Rehab and Sanctuary is a NJ based non-profit organization run by volunteers that strives to be innovative in its assistance to all giant breed canines. All donations go directly to the care of our dogs.
ADOPT A GREYHOUND ATLANTA, INC., Atlanta’s oldest Greyhound adoption group, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing food, shelter, and TLC to retired racing Greyhounds plus other sighthounds in need, and promoting their adoption as loving and loyal companions. Our ex-racers come from those area states that offer Greyhound racing, primarily Florida. Once entering our program, a Greyhound either finds a ”forever“ home or lives with us for the duration of his/her life.
