Dog Lodging
Your dog should have a safe, clean and fun place to stay while you’re away. At Barrington Kennels Pet Resort your pet will have a 4’ x 8’ inside room with a window looking out on a connecting 4’ x 16’ outside run. The inside rooms are separated by a solid wall, giving your pet his own private quarters. All rooms are air conditioned and heated. All dogs receive clean, comfortable lambswool bedding to sleep on daily. If you have more than one dog and would like them to stay together, our rooms are large enough to accommodate several dogs together depending on their size.
No inside potty rooms here! Your pet will have an individual outdoor potty area and will be let outside 4 times daily. Each run is cleaned and sanitized after each exercise period. Your pet is outside approximately 20 minutes per exercise period depending on weather conditions.
Because the owners live in residence, pets can be supervised any hour of the day including Sundays and holidays.
We provide a high quality kibble for your dog. Our main feeding is in the morning, however, additional feedings can be done upon request at no additional charge. If you prefer, we can feed dry or canned food that you provide at no extra charge. Please put each meal portion in an individual baggie labeled with your pet’s name. Canned foods should be labeled with your pet’s name also. We cannot accept any foods that need to be cooked, thawed, frozen, or refrigerated (except for canned foods).
If your dog is taking medication, please be sure to bring enough for his/her entire stay. We will administer any medication according to your veterinarian’s directions for a nominal charge
Day Lodging
An alternative for dogs who do not do well in day care settings. Your pet can come visit us for the day and enjoy individual attention and playtime. Our regular business hours apply.
Meet & Greet
First time boarding? Make an appointment to have your dog visit us for the day anytime before his first stay. This gives your pet a chance to meet us, check out his room and enjoy a complimentary organic treat!
Cat Lodging
Cats might seem pretty independent, but we know they need just as much love as dogs do. All of our cat guests have their own special cat condos in a dog-free section of our boarding facility to provide them a safe and more relaxing personal environment. Our guests’ quarters are kept clean, comfortable and as relaxing as possible. We provide clean litter and a lambswool rug daily. Cat condos come with a relaxing shelf and scratching post and all pets get regular and loving attention from our staff. If you have more than one cat and wish them boarded together, we have double-sized condos to accommodate multiple cats.
