Annies Orphans is a small rescue in the Montgomery Co., MD area that rescues dogs from shelters that are in danger of being euthanized. We either get them right away and place them in foster care or get them directly from the shelter and bring them to adoption events when we having potential adopters. When we can?t rescue due to not enough foster homes we list pets in local high kill shelters – those shelters have their own adoption fees and separate applications. We do this to help save the ones still left behind in the kill shelters that we could not help. We are always looking for volunteers and foster homes. We do have an adoption fee for our pets used to defray the costs of medical expenses and housing provided until we can find them a home. Please email us to make arrangements to meet one of our dogs.
