Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue, Inc. (ARCBCR) is a nonprofit Border Collie rescue organization with headquarters in Richmond, VA and Central Maryland. We work with Border Collies and Border Collie mixes. We take in dogs mostly from Maryland, VA, West VA, and North Carolina. These dogs come to us for various reasons. Some are neglected, some abandoned, others unwanted. We work closely with various state and local shelters, pulling dogs that are at risk of euthanasia. Other rescue organizations contact us, and we help them with placements.
