Atlantic County Canines is a local 501(3)(c) non-profit independent rescue that was founded in 2006 by a small group of dedicated people with a passion to save the homeless animals of Atlantic County and surrounding New Jersey area Shelters. We are an all volunteer organization with one sole purpose: To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home shelter dogs that were once in danger of being euthanized due to the overcrowded Shelters in New Jersey. We are a network of experienced rescue people who’s goal is to give these once abandoned animals a second chance and adopt them to families that will love and care for them for the rest of their lives. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets. Atlantic County Canines does not receive any government funding. Our support comes directly from you and it goes directly to the dogs for their medical care. Our gratitude to the supporters who share our philosophy and support our efforts and goals is heartfelt.
