The Cabarrus County Animal Shelter is located at 244 Betsy Carpenter Place, Concord. It is off of HWY 49 South. The Animal Control Division is responsible for investigating animal cruelty, enforcing existing Animal Control Laws, further investigating animal bites, enforcing rabies tag violations and managing stray animals.
