The Cleveland County Humane Society Inc., a 501c3, founded in 1982, opened an animal adoption center to assist animals in 1998. Since that time we have taken in and assisted over 2,853 dogs and cats that were lost, homeless, injured, sick, neglected, abused or otherwise in need of a permanent home. In addition, we offer a monthly low cost spay/neuter clinic in hopes of reducing the animal overpopulation problem in our community.
