Founded in August 2011, the rescue has saved over 340 dogs from kill shelters from Indiana and surrounding states. The rescue began as a result of President and Founder, Amber Marks, volunteering at a kill shelter for over six years. Seeing the GSD (German Shepherd Dog) breed being needlessly killed due to poor shelter behavior, she began her personal quest to save as many adoptable shepherds as possible.
