A not for profit, 501- c (3) cat rescue organization. NVAL rescues abandoned and stray cats. If the rescues can be socialized, they are placed for adoption. Cats that are not socialized are spayed or neutered, then offered as barn cats or returned to their colonies. All cats remain in their care until they are placed. We do not euthanize unless deemed medically necessary. NVAL does not have a shelter. Cats in their care are housed in various foster homes in and around the Manassas area.
