We are based in St. Louis, Missouri, and operate in St. Louis city, county, and the surrounding areas. We work tirelessly to give these Golden Retrievers a “second chance at life”. We strive to educate the public about Golden Retrievers, their lifespan, personality, activity level, and overall responsible dog ownership.
Gold Ribbon Rescue, Inc. (GRR) was founded in 1998 to meet three objectives. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization as recognized by the IRS. GRR’s main function is to provide a network for sheltering, rehabilitation and placing Golden Retrievers in permanent homes in Central Texas. GRR’s second function is to provide public education about responsible dog ownership and, in particular, about the Golden Retriever breed. Third, GRR provides a forum for Golden Retriever fanciers to meet.

Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon, Inc. is a volunteer run, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Golden Retrievers. Our mission is to find caring, adoptive homes for Goldens in need and to educate the public to prevent the homeless Goldens of the future. Goldens in need of new homes come from a variety of circumstances. Some come to us due to compelling family situations such as death, divorce, family illness, relocation or economic hardship. Other Goldens are released to rescue because of behavior problems due to lack of exercise and poor understanding of the needs of the breed. Since our beginnings in 1992, we have successfully placed over 1000 Goldens with new loving families.

Golden Retrievals also known as Island Retriever Rescue of the Palm Beaches (IRRPB) has been an informal operation since 2010. Golden Retrievals was incorporated in 2011 and has been approved as a not for profit 501(c) (3) organization.

GRRACE was founded in 1997, but many of our volunteers rescued dogs informally for years prior to 1997.

Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta (GRRA) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving Golden Retrievers that are in need of new forever homes. Started in 1991, GRRA is registered with the State of Georgia and is licensed by the State Agriculture Department as an animal shelter and rescue group.
Golden Retriever Rescue of Central New York, Inc. (GRRCNY) is an all-volunteer, full service Golden Retriever rescue program. Our mission is to provide re-homing services to purebred Golden Retrievers and to help the public be informed about the care and training needs of this breed.
