We are a non-profit (501c3) organization incorporated in New Jersey. We incorporated on May 1, 2006. Several of our rescues were previous volunteers with the Delaware Valley Weimaraner Club and felt they could help rescue more weimaraners by creating an organization whose main goal was to rescue purebred weimaraners. Since we have focused our goals toward just rescuing dogs we have found many others who are interested in the same goals. All our rescuers, foster homes and board members are volunteers who receive absolutely no compensation.

We are Weimaraner lovers who volunteer our time and efforts to rescue, care for and find homes for Weimaraners in need. Arlene has done Weimaraner Rescue for 15 years and has had Weimaraners for 35 years.

OUR MISSION is the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Weimaraners from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and abused. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and promote spay/neuter. We are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet over-population by opposing puppy mills, pet stores selling live animals, and irresponsible over-breeding of companion animals.
