A canyon on Salt Lake’s East side where dogs are permitted on leash on even days and off-leash on odd days. There are lots of trails, streams, and other dogs. There are also lots of joggers and bikers on even days so watch out for them. There is also a small fee to go up the canyon but it is beautiful and definitely worth it. The dogs love it. Location: 3800 S. east mountains. Directions: Take the I-215 3300 and 3900 south exit and travel north to 3800 S. There is a stoplight there, turn east and keep going straight up the canyon.
