Partially fenced; maintained by volunteers. Trees, lights, parking; this 80 acre spread is owned by MAC, as private property city leash laws not enforced. Parking lot crime has been reduced 100% thanks to the dogs. Bring your own water and poop bags; heaviest use 5p – 7p weekdays, all day weekends. Location: 6040 28th Avenue South (behind Metropolitan Airport Commission headquarters). Directions: Take Hwy 62 – 28th St. exit go south 3 blocks. Dog park is on the right side of street. There is parking behind the MAC building, and also on the street.
