The Ark Holistic Veterinary Care, owned and operated by Dr. Ellen van der Laan, incorporates both new and ancient healing modalities for the most beneficial treatment of its equine, canine, and feline clients. Dr. van der Laan uses acupuncture, Chinese and western herbs, neuromuscular release, massage, photon therapy, homeopathy, and reiki to improve the length and quality of your animal companion’s life. She takes the time to study each case individually and treats the cause, not just the symptoms, and she encourages the owner of the animal to be an active part of the healing process, thereby reinforcing the human-animal bond.
