In 1985, Dr. Thomas Benson and Dr. Charles Saxe, owners of Town & Country Animal Clinic, merged with Dr. John M. Brasher, owner of Memorial Animal Clinic. The plans were developed to build a progressive clinic to incorporate the beauty of the area with a facility that could accommodate the changing needs in the veterinary medical field. With the ever growing needs of our clients and patients in mind, Memorial Town & Country Animal Clinic was born. The building process itself took approximately 9 months. Drs. Benson, Saxe, & Brasher had constant input to be sure they would have a facility that would meet the needs of the families in the area they knew, as well as the families that would come to them in the future. In December of 1985, Memorial Town & Country Animal Clinic was completed. Although hidden in a nest of trees behind a shopping center, friends and neighbors passed the word about the new animal clinic being run by three established veterinarians already known by so many. The business of continuing care for your pets was up and running in a beautiful new facility. In these past years, many changes and improvements have been made. With these changes have come additions to, as well as losses of, many beloved family pets. It is so rewarding to continue to see generations of families in the area that trust our commitment to veterinary care for their loved ones. “You and your pets are part of our family.” is the way we truly feel about our clients. Our dedicated staff feels fortunate to be able to take care of your veterinary medical needs. We are equipped to offer many modern diagnostic services including radiology, electrocardiography (EKG), ultrasound, and clinical pathology. Once a diagnosis is made, we are staffed to meet most surgical and medical needs. Treatment is administered as often as needed. The doctor is on duty each weekend and holiday and performs whatever treatment is needed, even though he will not be in the hospital at all times. Most surgical and diagnostic procedures are performed between 12:00 and 3:00 P.M.

The Candlewood Suites is pet friendly. They welcome up to two pets of any size for a non-refundable fee of $75 per stay.
The Sheraton Houston West is pet friendly. They welcome up to two pets per room (under 40 lbs). They have no pet fee, but housekeeping will not enter if pets are in the room.

Animal Bath House has been established for over 28 years. The way our shop works is simple. You drop of your pet between 7am- 9am (Monday- Friday) 8am-9am (Saturday) on the day of your appointment, and we will call you throughout the day to let you know when they are ready to be picked up. Our friendly and professional staff will do everything we can to meet your specific needs for you and your four legged friend. For a couple of hours your pets will be treated like they are our own.
The KAAWS Clinic offers essential services such as spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, parasite control, and other preventive medicine for cats and dogs at affordable costs, allowing families to maintain their pets’ health and save money for situations that require further medical attention. The KAAWS Clinic upholds an excellent standard of care for all patients while relieving some of the clients’ financial stress by demonstrating the fact that everyone can afford quality pet care.
