Park is open 365 days/year, has excellent natural shade, and doggie pools with water are provided. Location: 6311 Nicks Road. Directions: From NC-54, head west out of Carrboro for ~10 miles. Turn right at Mebane Oaks Road, go two miles. Turn right at Nicks Road, go 0.6 mile. Turn left into the APS of Orange County. From I-40/I-85, take exit 254. Turn south (away from Mebane) on Mebane Oaks Road, go six miles. Turn left on Nicks road, go 0.6 miles. Turn left into the APS of Orange County.
