Park for unleashed dogs. Location: 12 Mile Rd and Van Dyke Ave. You need a swipe card to enter the fenced in park, you can get this from the City County bldg which is on Common Rd and Van Dyke. Directions: 1 block west of Van Dyke right of 12 mile road; go west on 12 mile past the Speedway service station on the corner of Van Dyke, ‘Dog Park’ sign on the west side of the street.

Fenced-in dog run, 1/2 mile long by 150ft wide. Location: Near I-696 and Grand Trunk RR. Benches, limited parking, water fountain. Key-card entry for $25 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Call 248-542-7322 for more info. Directions: Take I-696 to Woodward, go south on Woodward to first turnaround, then head north on Woodward to Sylvan. Turn right on Sylvan, then left on Indiana and take until it dead ends.

The dog park is at the corner of 17th Street and Rose Street in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood. The park is adjacent to the Michigan Central Station, and about a block south of Michigan Avenue.

It’s open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Daily half-hour before dawn to half-hour after dusk Park pass required; a daily pass is available at the Lake Orion Township office (open Mon.-Fri.) on Joslyn Road south of the park; or at Independence Oaks County Park (open daily) on Sashabaw Road 2.5 miles north of I-75. Resident fee $5 per day, $28 for an annual pass. Non-resident fee $10 per vehicle for daily entry, $49 for an annual pass; over 62, $3 per vehicle for daily entry, $23 for an annual pass. Directions: Depending on which direction you are driving, north or south on Merriman, turn into the park, at the first stop sign make a right. Make that first left around the circle. When you see a crossing bridge, park in that area, walk across the bridge and the 2 fenced in areas will be on your left.

Daily or annual vehicle permit required. Features a 13-acre fenced enclosure with benches and picnic tables; drinking water nearby, water fountain and shelter. Location: 52251 Pontiac Trail (between Old Plank and Wixom Roads). Directions: From I-696 exit Wixom Road to North. Turn left on Pontiac Trail. Lyon Oaks County Park is about 1.5 ahead on the left. Once in the park, follow the signs to the Bark Park.

8 acres with 3 separate parks. 8 fenced acres, 3 separate parks, full agility course included in park use. Small daily fee of $5 per dog or $25 a month for unlimited use. ($10 for second dog belonging to same family) Nature trail, toys, and water for the dogs to cool off in. For safety purposes, no small dogs and no children under 16 please. A large area of the park is fenced in for the dog park. The area is open to the Saline River to allow your pet to swim. Location: End of W. Bennett St. just past elementary school. Location: 7185 Gillette Rd. Directions: Located 5 miles West of I-75 Exit 126 (Mt. Morris Rd). Approx 10 miles South of Frankenmuth/Birch Run Mall area.

London’s second largest off-leash park is located within Stoney Creek Meadows, on Adelaide Street North at Windermere Road. Surrounded by trees and meadows, this off-leash area is completely fenced and offers an open area and trails through a naturalized area. There is also an area for small dogs, with a separate entrance from the parking lot. Site amenities include parking, double-gated entrances, garbage containers, benches, rule sign, bulletin board, and a portable toilet. Please be considerate of wildlife and other park users and leash your dog when outside of the fenced area. This area is located in the floodplain and is subject to flooding.

Metro park that offers a sizable off-leash area for dogs of all sizes. Location: E Cavanaugh Rd. Directions: Right off of 127/496/96. Take the Jolly exit which actually puts you on Dunckel Rd. Go WEST (right) off of the exit on Dunckel and turn RIGHT onto E CAVANAUGH. Cavanaugh curves to go south and Hawk Island County Park is right after Aurelius, but before Pennsylvania.

Fenced dog park on the Bay County Fairgrounds site. Location: 800 Livingston St. Directions: From I-75, exit at 162-A onto M-25, the Downtown Bay City exit. from there stay on M-25 and head east over the river and through Bay City. When you get to Livingston Street at the edge of the city limits there will be a light. Make a left. Go for about 1/8 of a mile and the park and county fairgrounds will be on the right.

London’s newest off-leash park is located within Greenway Park. The off-leash area can be accessed from Greenside Avenue off of Springbank Drive. Greenside Avenue makes a bend to the left, towards the Greenway Pollution Control Plant (PCP). Make a right before the PCP, carefully follow the driveway along the river, and the off-leash area will be on your left just after the PCP. This off-leash area is completely fenced and offers an open area and trails through a naturalized area. There is also an area for small dogs, with a separate entrance and parking lot. Site amenities include parking, double-gated entrances, garbage containers, benches, rule sign, bulleting board, and a portable toilet. Other activities in Greenway Park include soccer fields, a Saturn Playground, a picnic area with a viewing platform onto the Thames River, and a butterfly garden.

This off-leash area has a completely fenced section and an open section delineated by boundary signs. Both sections offer trails through naturalized areas. There is also a separate area for small dogs. Site amenities include parking, double-gated entrances, garbage container, picnic tables and benches, rule sign, bulletin board, and portable toilet.
