Dr. Shanthi Ramachandran holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology and neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude, as well as a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biostatistics from Georgetown University. Dr. Tom Ramirez has been in Cabin John for the past 20 years. He spent his childhood in rural PA before making the DC area his permanent home.

Dr. Villar was born in Spain but considers himself a Virginia native, having lived most of his life in Charlottesville. Early on he developed a keen interest in animals, having been in their constant company as a child. His family owned a small farm that at one time or another raised pet horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and let’s not forget his prize winning donkey, Mikey.Dr. Villar pursued his Bachelor’s at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Urbanz attended Auburn University where she received a degree in both Zoology and Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a fellowship at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center in veterinary medical studies. Dr. Urbanz completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at University of Minnesota. Dr. Urbanz joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 1999 and became a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2002.

Up to two pets of any size are allowed for a one time, non-refundable cleaning fee of $75.
Towneplace Suites by Marriott Burlington Williston allows pets of any size for a fee of $15 per pet per night, not to exceed $75 per pet.
150 acres to explore leash free, dog chapel, art gallery (dogs welcome leash free at all places!). It is Vermont artist Stephen Huneck’s mission to make the world a dog friendly place to be. At Dog Mountain his artwork is displayed, including a chapel he has created with the sole purpose of honoring animals who have passed away. Photos of pets from across the globe adorn the walls and are all placed there in remembrance by their family members. There are 150 wooded acres with trails for dogs and their companions to hike and explore. Dogs are welcome in the gallery and dog trets are always available! Location: 143 Parks Road.
A trail along the reservoir. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the parking lots, picnic area adjacent to the dam and the water in front of these areas. Dogs are allowed to be off leash beginning at the trail head past the last parking lot on the east side of the reservoir and beyond the trail head at the lower parking lot on the south end of the reservoir. Dogs must respond to voice commands, cannot chase the wildlife in the park, and must be within the owner’s vision at all times. (At each trail head we have provided dog mitts, You must pick up after your dog).’
