In the mid-1800’s Fairfax Animal Hospital was a dairy farm. In the 1930’s beside where we are residing now there was a country store, there were pony rides, and in the 1940’s the airport was right across the street. In 1945 we became the first animal hospital in Fairfax County.

Waterland Kennels is located close to Houston, Texas, in Waller. They specialize in results-oriented obedience training. After you and your dog complete the obedience program, you will understand the tools and humane techniques necessary to have a well-mannered pet. They will teach you to communicate positively with your dog, which leads to better listening by your dog, which in turn leads to a happy family. Their obedience program teaches your dog to do the following: come when called, sit and stay on command and heeling at your side on and off leash. The program will address and correct the following behavioral issues: jumping on people, pulling on the leash, chewing/digging, biting/mouthing, bolting out of a door, nuisance barking and aggression problems.
The park was the first of its kind in HARRIS COUNTY, it is a County operated facility. Thirteen acres.
