When we decided to build Zoot, we discovered most veterinarians were either not interested in boarding pets or just did not have the facility to meet the demand. We realize many owner?s first inclination is to board their pet with the vet they use?.metal cages, small strip of grass out back, walks in the parking lot are not ideal and create anxiety for both pet and owner. The boarding industry on the other hand has sharply differing levels of professionalism and skill. Low barriers to entry in the ?boarding and kennel? industry allow almost anyone to open for business regardless of skill level or work history. We have found some outstanding overnight facilities in our research across the country, but very few tied in with top notch veterinary care on site. What we have done is combined the professionalism of veterinary care with a first class all-suite boarding facility.
