Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue was founded by Donna Penne and Holly Frein-Harman in 2012. What started as a small group on facebook has grown to over 20,000 advoCanadates throughout the United States and overseas. We obtained our state rescue license in August of 2013 and our 501(c)3 status in November of 2014. We are the only licensed, nonprofit pit bull rescue in Iowa.
