Dr. Villar was born in Spain but considers himself a Virginia native, having lived most of his life in Charlottesville. Early on he developed a keen interest in animals, having been in their constant company as a child. His family owned a small farm that at one time or another raised pet horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and let’s not forget his prize winning donkey, Mikey.Dr. Villar pursued his Bachelor’s at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Urbanz attended Auburn University where she received a degree in both Zoology and Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a fellowship at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center in veterinary medical studies. Dr. Urbanz completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at University of Minnesota. Dr. Urbanz joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 1999 and became a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2002.

Crestwood Suites Snellville welcomes a maximum of two pets, 30lbs or less, for an additional $25 per pet, per night.
Motel 6 is the original pet friendly hotel chain! Pets stay for free, and there is no weight limit or restriction on the number of dogs per room.
The Sun Suites is pet friendly! One pet (up to 20lbs) is welcome for an additional fee of $16.95.
Residence Inn Atlanta Gwinnett Place accepts one pet under 25 lbs for a fee of $100 per stay.
Best Western Gwinnett Center Hotel welcomes two pets under 80 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay. Pet-friendly rooms are limited. Well-behaved pets can be left unattended in rooms.

DeKalb Animals Services and Enforcement is a section of the DeKalb County Police Department, Special Operations Division. As such, we not only provide services to the public, but also provide support services to local law enforcement. We impound large numbers of animals from drug busts, warrant services, and evictions as well as strays, Dangerous/Potentially Dangerous cases, cruelty complaints, and Abandonments. Many animals are on hold for law enforcement cases through local and state courts.
