Chimney Park
Dog ParksOff leash dog park that is seperated into 2 areas. The park is 5-6 acres big. The park has many trees and is grassy with some mud during the rainy season. Many different types of dogs go to this park, from smaller dogs to larger dogs. The people are very friendly, and the dogs always seem to get along! The park is completely fenced, with many entrances and exits. There is a path that is layered with bark dust that loops the entire park which most use to exercise themselves and their dogs! There is one picnic table, and garbage cans for disposal of trash/waste. There is plenty of parking. Location: Columbia Blvd going W past Portland St. Directions: From I-5 N, take the Columbia Blvd exit (the exit after Lombard). Take a Right at the light onto Columbia Blvd. Follow Columbia Blvd for a good 5-7 miles. The park is on the L hand side of Columbia Blvd. There is a small sign stating that there is a park, however you will see the large fenced area first. On the Right side of the street there is a wrecking yard. Take the first L after the field and wrecking yard. Follow the narrow road to the top of the hill, there will be plenty of parking.
