Take the Lead Dog Training offers professional In-home training. Meeting you at your home to help solve unwanted behaviors and build a foundation of communication between you and your dog. We also offer Board and Train options for those who want their dog to learn at an accelerated pace, or for when you go on vacation! We use treat free training and have a balanced method approach, meaning we teach your dog “yes” and “no”. Using these methods have proven to work well as it is similar to a dogs natural way of communicating.

As the clinic continued to grow, Dr. Shannon Smith joined the practice in 2004, Dr. Kim Hsu in 2005, Dr. Karen Wichert in 2013, and Dr. Naomi Keiper in 2015.
