The City of DeSoto employs two full-time and one part-time animal control officers who are responsible for patrolling the city and answering all animal-related complaints. During Daylight Savings Time, animal control officers run split shift so they can be available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. 

DeKalb Animals Services and Enforcement is a section of the DeKalb County Police Department, Special Operations Division. As such, we not only provide services to the public, but also provide support services to local law enforcement. We impound large numbers of animals from drug busts, warrant services, and evictions as well as strays, Dangerous/Potentially Dangerous cases, cruelty complaints, and Abandonments. Many animals are on hold for law enforcement cases through local and state courts.

This department is engaged in the enforcement of state laws and regulations, county ordinance relating to animals. Activities include dog licensing, operating the county dog pound, maintaining dog license and rabies vaccination records, impounding stray dogs and large animals, investigating dog bites and quarantining biting dogs, investigating loose or nuisance large animal complaints. Other areas of responsibility include licensing kennels, enforcing other state laws and regulations concerning animal care and keep, violations of humane laws, picking up small dead animals for disposal, picking up injured domestic animals.

Demopolis Animal Control is a very active part of the Demopolis community and surrounding areas.  We are the only shelter within the county, and even surrounding counties, therefore we take satisfaction in serving our public!

Denver Animal Shelter (DAS) is home to more than 8,000 lost and abandoned pets each year. DAS is an open-admission municipal shelter that provides animal care and control services for all of Denver County. DAS is committed to providing humane care to companion animals; adopting pets to loving homes; and proactively educating the public about animals, their needs, and DAS’s critical role as a community resource.

Just like your car needs to be registered, so does your dog. It’s pertinent to your pet’s health to be up to date on its rabies and booster vaccinations. Your beloved pet might not leave your yard, but wildlife may enter your yard and infect your pet with rabies and distemper virus. Help keep your pet safe by vaccinating, and licensing your pet today. We offer low cost vaccination clinics to the residents of Duarte every year in the month of June. Remember to spay or neuter your pet, dogs get a 50 percent discount per year on licensing.

DuPage County Animal Care & Control is the only open admission shelter in DuPage County caring for nearly 4,000 animals each year without tax dollars.

The Downriver Central Animal Control Agency (DCACA) is a collaborative effort among Southgate, Wyandotte, Allen Park, and Lincoln Park. All cities adopted uniform animal control ordinances and combined jurisdictions in April 2013, except for Lincoln Park, which uses the shelter for housing only. These four cities are currently the only cities we serve.

The Toms River Animal Control and Services is a municipal shelter serving Toms River Township. We are one of only four remaining municipally-run shelters in New Jersey. The staff at the facility are responsible for all daily operations including administrative, cleaning/feeding all animals, adoptions, reclaims, owner relinquishment’s and animal control.

Wenatchee Valley Animal Control provides services for the Cities of Cashmere, Chelan, East Wenatchee, Entiat, Rock Island, Wenatchee, the town of Waterville and Chelan & Douglas Counties.

The Animal Services Division operates under the auspices of the Doraville Police Department. A full-time animal control officer patrols and enforces animal rules and regulations for the City. Animals detained by Animal Services are held for 12 hours at the City kennel before being transported to the DeKalb County Animal Services shelter. Pets that can be identified by tag or through a microchip are typically returned promptly.

The Mission of the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley is to provide safe shelter for all lost, mistreated, and abandoned animals of the Mesilla Valley and surrounding communities. The Center utilizes all avenues available to it in placing each animal into a safe, loving and permanent home whenever possible. We strive to meet highest standards of humane animal care and to promote responsible pet ownership through public education and outreach.
