The Bernalillo County Animal Control and Protection Department’s primary responsibility is to protect the safety, health and welfare of the public while enforcing the humane treatment of animals.
The Brookfield Police Department employs one Animal Control Officer who provides numerous services to the city and its residents.
Stray animals picked up by the Animal Control Officers are taken to the Bedford County Animal Shelter located on Falling Creek Road. Manned by County staff, the shelter is an award-winning facility offering separate climate controlled quarters for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens.
It is the goal of Brigham City’s Animal Control to provide service to the citizens and animals of Brigham City through the professional operation of the Animal Shelter and through animal care and control programs.
Animal Services is responsible for enforcing the laws that protect animals, sheltering and returning stray pets to their owners and promoting responsible pet ownership.
The Bullhead City Animal Care & Welfare Facility houses domesticated and stray animals, reunites lost pets with owners and enforces City ordinances pertaining to animals.
The Animal Control Division is responsible for responding to complaints dealing with all types of animals. This service generally concentrates on the dog population of the Town, but is also responsible for complaints dealing with raccoons, deer, trapped wildlife, and other concerns dealing with domestic or wild animals.

Candlewood Suites I 10 East is pet friendly! Multiple dogs up to 60 lbs are welcome for a one time fee of $25 for dogs under 15 lbs and $50 for pets 15-60 lbs.
Motel 6 allows one dog (25 lbs or less) per guest room for no additional fee. Larger dogs or an additional pet may be permitted with prior management approval.
Red Roof Inn Houston East allows one pet, under 60lbs, is allowed for no additional fee. Pets may be left unattended in the room, but the front desk must be notified prior to doing so.
Super 8 Pasadena is pet friendly! Two pets under 40 lbs are welcome for an additional fee of $15 per pet per night.
Reduced cost spay and neuter surgery and animal wellness services are available at the Pasadena Spay-Neuter/Wellness Clinic. Wellness services include vaccinations, flea and tick preventative, heartworm testing and preventative, and microchipping. Wellness clinic services are provided for healthy animals only. We are not able to provide care for sick or injured animals, and we do not euthanize (put to sleep) sick or injured animals
