The Bay Village Animal Control Officer (ACO), Diana Fife, works Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. If during her off duty hours the police receive an animal related call which they feel requires her expertise she is called in from home. Diana deals mostly with situations involving domesticated animals however she also handles wild animal calls. During her normal business hours she can be contacted at her number (440) 899-3414. Diana is constantly out on calls so she might not answer the phone when you call. Just leave a message on her voice mail. She checks it many times a day. If it is after business hours or you feel the call is an emergency situation then you should call the police at (440) 871-1234.

Beaufort County Animal Control is a county run agency responsible for enforcing State and Local animal control laws and ordinances. Part of the job of Beaufort County Animal Control is to educate the public about rabies, pet overpopulation and responsible pet ownership. It is required that all animals adopted from the shelter are spayed and neutered to help stop unwanted animals being born that would other wise add to the pet overpopulation problem.
The Animal Control department is a division of the City of Big Spring Police Department. The Animal Control department manages and protects the animal population in Big Spring, enforces animal ordinances, protects the health and welfare of the citizens of Big Spring, and strives to place as many unwanted animals as possible in suitable homes.
Beaver County partners with Beaver City, Milford City, and Minersville Town to provide animal control services. An inter-local animal shelter is located on the airport road in Beaver City. The daily operations are under the direction of the county sheriff. All changes / amendments to the Animal Control Ordinance or to registration fees are decided by the Animal Control Committee. The committee is comprised of mayors from the three municipalities, a county commissioner, and the county sheriff.
The Boone County Animal Shelter is the primary agency charged with animal control and sheltering in Boone County, KY.
Benton Animal Control Adoption Center is a municipal animal control facility located in the heart of Arkansas. We provide animal services to all citizens inside the city limits of Benton. Our goal is to try to find life-long homes for our adoptable pets at the shelter. We are a high intake shelter, so if you see a pet that you would love to adopt, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or come by and see us.
The Animal Control Department enforces the county’s animal control ordinance on a county-wide basis including all municipalities. This department responds to complaints regarding stray and nuisance animals, animal cruelty, animal bites, and rabies exposure. In addition, this department also conducts semi-annual rabies clinics, provides temporary shelter for stray, unwanted, and homeless animals at the 104 unit animal shelter, and manages a volunteer program and animal adoption program.
The cities of Richfield and Eden Prairie and the Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC) have contracted with Bloomington to provide animal sheltering services. Animals from these entities are impounded and held at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.
Christina Tindle the ACO for the City of Breckenridge, several small towns in Caldwell County and Winston, MO. We have a shelter for dogs, cats and medium to small animals. We are striving to be a no kill shelter with only extreme aggressive animals being euthanized. I do this because I love animals and want to get them in good homes with responsible owners.
The Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection serves the City of Roanoke, the Counties of Botetourt and Roanoke, and the Town of Vinton, and is an “open intake facility”. The Regional Center primarily handles stray animals picked up by the Animal Control Officers employed by the municipalities, but also accepts strays found, and animals owned, by citizens of the municipalities. Each year the Regional Center receives between 6,000 and 7,500 animals.

When you enter the Park, there is a small, 2-lane paved road that runs about 3 miles. It ends at the beach, and then there is 70 miles of barrier reef beach and dunes. You can drive on the beach (5, 10, 50, even 70 miles) until you find the spot for Fido, then pull off the main driving lane, park, put up some shade, and have some fun. The surf is in Gulf of Mexico, so it isn’t rough. Jellyfish population varies depending upon season, so it’s a good thing to bring some vinegar and meat tenderizer to stop any jellyfish stings from itching. Plenty of birds. Little ghost crabs come out at night and run around the beach. Please note that this is the beach — you will need to bring plenty of water, and some portable shade. There are outside showers back at the Welcome Center where you (and Fido) can wash off. The Seashore is a Kemps Ridley Turtle nesting place, so please make sure your dogs do not disturb any turtle nests.
