Dr. Beebe received her DVM from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she practiced veterinary emergency medicine and critical care exclusively until 1997. During that time, she owned and operated a 24-hour animal emergency medicine and critical care facility in central Washington state. She began her study of alternative and complementary medicine modalities in 1994. She relocated to California in 1997, where she practices integrative veterinary medicine. That is, when appropriate, she combines conventional veterinary medical care with the other complementary and alternative therapies she is trained in. Dr. Beebe has a special interest in the application of Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy and intravenous Vitamin C for the treatment of cancer, and in the use of veterinary prolotherapy to rehabilitate and treat chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions.
At Sierra Animal Wellness Center we integrate Western medical information: blood work, x-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostics as well as western medications, with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM).

We board dogs and cats in a country setting located in Auburn, California — about 45 minutes east of Sacramento and an hour west of Lake Tahoe. We are on Bell Road, exit 123 off Route 80, and about 7 miles north.
SPGPC works in the Northern California region saving Great Pyrenees. Since we are a small club, we can only serve pups in our region and any posts about dogs outside of our region will be deleted as we don’t have the resources to help dogs nationwide.
My name is Jennyfer. I have lived in this area on and off for 36 years. I have been taking care of animals all my life. I feel that a house is not whole without an animal in it. I have had many jobs taking care of other people’s pets and I see their pets as a member of my family when I’m taking care of them.
I am a certified Dog Trainer and have a degree from Animal Behavior College. I have been training dogs professionally since 2006. But my parents say I have been training dogs and animals since I was three. I took care of most of the neighborhood animals when people were away and trained some of their dogs.

$6.25 – Extra time (over 24 hours) – prorated in 3 hour blocks
$10.00 – Baths (dogs only) – pick your pooch up smelling clean and fresh
$5.00 – Nail trims – just so the job is done

5% – Visits lasting 10 – 19 days
10% – Visits lasting 20 – 29 days
15% – Visits lasting 30 days or more

Additional Fees:
$2.50/hour for drop-off or pickup outside regular hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
$5.00 fee for all cancellations or reservations with less than 24 hours notice.
$10.00 holiday fee for all major holidays included in a boarding visit.
The Holiday Inn Auburn welcomes a maximum of two dogs, 40lbs or less, per guest room for an additional $30 per stay. Only dogs allowed.
