Doggie Duty – Dog Walking, Dog Sitting. Professional dog care is family-owned and operated in Thousand Oaks, CA. Since opening we?ve treated every customer (canine & humans) like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch. With over 10 years of volunteer service at the local animal shelter, I have worked with every size, shape and breed.

Your Pet’s Home Away From Home-
Leaving for a night or several weeks? We have private certified pet homes available where your dog or cat will stay. Cage free with no more than five other dogs or cats at a time.
Our pet boarding is a great alternative to the stressful atmosphere of a kennel. We keep them in the “creature” comforts of our home. Your pet gets feeding, love, and lots of cuddle/play time with the sitter.

We groom both dogs and cats without force, grooming nooses or harshness. We treat your best friend with kindness and respect. Options include medicated baths, flea baths, hot oil treatments, bow and bandanas and specialty shampoos. Scaling and polishing of teeth is available without the use of anesthesia. We love the Chihuahua breed and work together to rescue abandoned, abused, and unwanted Chihuahuas. The BCCR provides assistance wherever there is a Chihuahua in need. Our dog boarding facility consists of 31 indoor/outdoor runs. The indoor portion is a generous 16 square feet, with solid walls for privacy and heated floors. Each indoor run has its own attached run which is 4′ wide x 20′ long and completely roofed for your dogs comfort and protection.
The exercise yard is enclosed with a 6′ fence, is fully grassed with large shade trees across the back, and measures well over 13,000 square feet. The dogs have access to the yard at least three times a day, to enjoy a good run, a sniff around or a game of catch if they so desire.
Separate from the dogs, this area is bright and quiet. It contains six spacious double size condos; litter pans are on the lowest level, with food and beds on upper levels – lots of separation between dining/sleeping area and bathroom facilities. We also have a ground level, side by side condo for the very old or less mobile guests.
Each cat has the opportunity daily to come out and explore, climb the kitty tree, get cuddled, watch the goldfish, or just sit in the windows and enjoy the sun.
We recognize that each guest has their own unique personality and respond accordingly – some may want to cuddle, others want “company” but their own space – whatever it is, we try to discover just what it is that makes your cat comfortable.
