(formerly Dog Woods @ Pet Central). Cary, NC. Less than 1 acre on a wooded lot, so there is plenty of shade. It is a members only dog park, but daily passes can be purchased. The following are provided: water, poop bags, trash cans, and doggie pools. There is a separate area for small dogs. Members can also rent the area for private dog parties and/or playgroups. Park is open 365 days/year, has excellent natural shade, and doggie pools with water are provided. Location: 6311 Nicks Road. Directions: From NC-54, head west out of Carrboro for ~10 miles. Turn right at Mebane Oaks Road, go two miles. Turn right at Nicks Road, go 0.6 mile. Turn left into the APS of Orange County. From I-40/I-85, take exit 254. Turn south (away from Mebane) on Mebane Oaks Road, go six miles. Turn left on Nicks road, go 0.6 miles. Turn left into the APS of Orange County.
Raleigh’s newest off-leash park for dogs. Open sunrise to sunset every day. Separate areas for the Big Dog Park and the Small Dog Park. Chain link fencing and mulch surface. Picnic tables. Active volunteer oversight group: FOLDPOP = Friends of the Off-Leash Dog Park at Oakwood Park. See website to join. Location: 910 Brookside Dr. Directions: I-440 Beltline to Capital Blvd S exit. Stay in right lane and exit at Atlantic Ave / Blount St exit. Left at light onto Atlantic Ave. Left at second signal onto Brookside Dr (after Circus Restaurant). Free, off-leash dog park. Location: 1226 North White Street.
No pets other than dogs are allowed in K-9 corner. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Smoking and eating is not allowed inside K-9 Corner. People will be allowed to have drinks, and they may give their pets bite-sized treats. People must stay within view of their dogs. Children under the age of 14 must be with an adult. People who don’t have a dog should stay outside the fence for observation. All dogs must be registered to use facility. Annual fee: $20 for owner’s first dog and $10 for each additional dog. Dogs can be registed at Beth Schmidt Park Monday-Friday 9-11am or 2-4pm. Mus have veterinary records that show their pets are current for rabies, parvo/distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Days Inn Raleigh Crabtree allows two dogs of any size for a fee of $35 per pet per stay. Pets cannot be left in the room unattended.
Sunset Inn Creedmore/butner allows up to three dogs of any size per guest room for an additional fee of $35 for first 3-4 days, additional fee after that.
Up to two pets 40lbs or less are welcome for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night.

Indoor/Outdoor Runs:
Indoor/Outdoor runs are our most popular enclosure. Your dog can run in and out through a swinging door throughout the day. Dogs do not have outdoor access at night. These runs measure 15 feet long and are 3 to 4 feet wide.
Be sure to reserve our indoor/outdoor runs well in advance since they book up quickly!
Indoor Runs:
Our indoor runs are comfortable for most small- to medium-sized breeds and are located completely inside the kennel. two outdoor walks daily are included each day as a part of the standard boarding rate. Each indoor run measures 3.5 feet by 4.5 feet.
Condos:
Condos are reserved for smaller dogs. A condo measures approximately is 3 foot by 3 foot. Dogs boarding in these runs receive two outdoor walks each day as part of the standard boarding rate.
Our cat facility is separate from the dogs and is bright and quiet. Skylights add natural light to the cat environment. Your cat will have an opportunity to exercise and play every day.
Each cat condo measures 3 foot by 3 foot and is about 6 foot high. There are two levels to the condo which include a perch on each level.
