Enjoy some beach frisbee or a casual stroll in the sand with your pup throughout the year at East Hampton Main Beach. Dogs are welcome off-leash anytime in the off-season. From the second Sunday in May through September 30, dogs are not permitted on the beach at all from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, daily. At all other times during the period from the second Sunday in May to September 30, dogs MUST be manually restrained on a leash within areas that are within 300 feet of any road end along the beaches. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and keeping them under control. Plastic bags for clean-up are conveniently provided at the entrance to each village beach. The village actively patrols beaches and strictly enforces regulations.
