Open 8am to dusk, park is partially fenced. There is a creek and a pond for dogs to play in. There are picnic tables, water but turned off in the winter, restrooms, parking, handicap access, and poop-bags. This area is a multi use area so there maybe be people flying kites or planes. The field is huge, therefore lots and lots of room to run. This area gets warm in the summer as there is no trees. Location: Sierra Street and McCarran Blvd. Directions: From Interstate 80 take the Virginia Street exit. Sierra Street is west of Virginia Street, go north on Sierra Street, Rancho San Rafael Park is on the left. Enter the park, go through the stop sign and turn right into the parking lot with the restrooms. Dogs must be leashed as they cross the field to the park. The dog park is the area enclosed with the white fence.

Plenty of free parking. Dogs must be leashed on the walk from the parking lot to the park. There are plenty of waste bags located along your walk, so please clean up after your pet. Park is open from dawk to dusk, year-round and dogs are not allowed on the beaches at any time. Located on a man-made marina in Sparks, NV (just east of Reno). Fenced in and right on the water, this is a popular place for dogs and their owners during hot summer days. No currents or tides to worry about; dogs are free to run around unleashed and play in the water. The marina is completely surrounded by a walking trail, providing a great way to dry off your pooch before heading home. Also, directly across the marina from the dog park is the Scraps Dog Bakery, where you can buy specialty hand-made treats and other goodies. Location: 300 Howard Drive. Directions: Take the North McCarran Blvd. exit off I-80 East, just past The Nugget casino. Go left off the exit ramp, then right at the second light, just past the truck stop. Keep going straight and Sparks Marina will be directly in front of you. The dog park is on the right hand side of the marina, opposite the beaches and row of houses (brightly colored, can’t miss them) and is surrounded by a white fence.

Interstate 80, exit Sacramento St., right on Nile Street, and when the road comes to a ‘T’, go right.

The park is located on Sierra Gardens Drive, North of Douglas Blvd. Off of eastbound I-80 take the Douglas Blvd. East exit, and keep going east. At the third traffic light make a left on to Sierra Gardens Drive. The park is on the right, just as the road begins to curve to the left. It is in a big bowl, is completely fenced, and has water available, including a couple of wading pools. (The organization R- DOG (Roseville Dog Owners Group) helped to establish the park and they keep the park supplied with bags, and they are responsible for improvements.)

A crystal clear lake that has 60 miles of shoreline. Highway 20, go North on Marysville Raod/County Road E21 for 15 miles to Bullard’s Bar Reservoir. One mile past the town of Dobbins.

Description: 4 acre off leash fenced dog park. Park is open from Dawn – Dusk (closed from Dawn to 11AM every Wednesday for maintenance). Location: Third Street & Santa Clara in the City of Lincoln. Directions: Hwy 65 to Moore Road in Lincoln (across from Safeway). Veer right and Moore Road turns into Joiner Parkway. Turn left on 3rd Street. Turn right on Santa Clara (just past the large oak tree on your right).

2 Acre dog park! This 2-acre dog park includes two separate areas to exercise dogs off-leash, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Each area has an agility play area, walking trail and benches. Location: 1575 Pleasant Grove Boulevard. Directions: Located off of Pleasant Grove Boulevard within Mahany Park.

1 acre dog park located in Carmichael Park. The dog park is open everyday. The Canine Corral features one acre of fenced running room, water, plenty of shade, poop scoop bags and lights for night use. There is benches and chairs for the owners as well. Carmichael, CA. Location: 5750 Grant Avenue. Directions: The dog park is located by the softball diamonds. Carmichael park is located on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Grant Ave. The entrance to the park is on Grant.

Sacramento County’s new state-of-the-art facility features a dog park for small dogs and a dog park for large dogs. Please ensure your pets are currently vaccinated against Rabies and possess a current County license. Licenses can be purchased in the main building before entering the dog park. The park is at Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. To get there, take the Capitol City Freeway East (used to be Business 80) from Sacramento. Take the El Camino exit and go East to Howe Avenue, where you will make a right and go south. After the school on the left, you will see the park. Make a left on Cottage Way, and enter the park at the first entrance on the left. The off-leash area of the park (it is fenced) is between the tennis courts and the baseball field. You can see the fenced-in area down the walkway with signs pertaining to this dog park. It is called Howe About Dogs Park.
