You will pass a Wendyï¾’s on your right and a car dealership on your left. You will pass through the Old US 36 intersection. The next right turn is 575 E. Turn right onto 575 E. You should see the Park sign on 575E. Travel up 575 E. approximately 100 feet. Turn left into the park.

The Zone encompasses 10 acres at Eagle Creek Park. Located on High School Road, just north of 56th Street and can be accessed without going through the gatheouses on either end of the Park. All dogs are required to have a Pooch Pass which can be obtained at the Eagle Creek Park Office, 7840 W. 56th St. Call 327-7110 for more information. $40 per tag and $10 per gate card. Dog owners must show proof of rabies, distemper, bordatella and parvo vaccinations to obtain passes.

City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation dog park. Fenced in area with proximity pass gates. Use is by membership only. Owners must have leash in hand for each dog. Directions: On 63rd Street 1.1 mile East of Lee Road or .5 mile west of Sunnyside Road. From 56th Street turn north on Lee Road. At 63rd Street turn east (right) and go 1.1 mile. Park is on the north side of the road.

Low cost membership based dog park with two separate gated running areas. Location: 3809 West St. Rd. 32. Directions: We’re located just 4 1/2 miles west of U.S. 31. North (Meridian) on State Road 32.

Leash free Dog social. There is a Dam from Lake Griffy that supplies a creek so if your dog is a water lover, this is the place! Location: On the Corner of N. Old State Road 37 and N. Dunn St. Directions: Off of Highway 37, from Walnut take the Bypass and turn left on to Dunn. Go North of Dunn and it will take you down a large hill and at the bottom right is a gravel parking area with the fenced grassy park for your pup!

Small dog park for apartment complex residents and their dogs. Lafayette, Indiana. Location: Eaglesway Drive.

5.5 acre off leash area with areas for both small and large dogs. Park use is limited to annual members, memberships are $100 for up to three dogs. Day passes are available for $5. Shamrock Park Dog Park will open on July 1, 2006. The park will be open from dawn to dusk year-round. Users must provide proof of rabies to gain entry to the park. Location: VOA Park, Cox Road. Free parking. Separate areas for small and large dogs. Benches. VOA park has a walking trail, soccer and baseball fields, etc. Directions: Interstate 75 North to Tylersville Rd. exit. Turn right onto Tylersville Rd. Turn left onto Cox Road, (at Target store). Drive past strip mall and enter park. Take your first right and follow the road around the perimeter of the park until you reach the dog area.

Go to the web site to get a permit. Off leash dog park inside state park. Location: 3000 Freys Hills Road. Directions: From I-64 = Take EXIT 19 to northbound Gene Snyder Freeway. Follow the Gene Snyder Freeway to EXIT 32 and turn right at the end of the ramp onto WESTPORT ROAD. Go approximately 0.75 miles and take a left onto FREYS HILL ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles and turn left onto the small road just before you get to the E.P. ‘Tom’ Sawyer State Park entrance. Follow the road back to the dog park. From I-71 = Take EXIT 9-A to southbound Gene Snyder Freeway. Follow the Gene Snyder Freeway to EXIT 32 and turn right at the end of the ramp onto WESTPORT ROAD. Go approximately 0.75 miles and take a left onto FREYS HILL ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles and turn left onto the small road just before you get to the E.P. ‘Tom’ Sawyer State Park entrance. Follow the road back to the dog park. From Hurstbourne Parkway = If you are traveling north on Hurstbourne, take a right onto WESTPORT (if you are going south, you’ll take a left onto WESTPORT ROAD). Go to the first stop light and take a right onto FREYS HILL ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles and turn left onto the small road just before you get to the E.P. ‘Tom’ Sawyer State Park entrance. Follow the road back to the dog park.

Very nice wooded park on a hill with running water, benches, and a short trail. Many former visitors of the Anderson, OH and Newtown/Anderson, OH parks are now visiting Ft Thomas. Lots of friendly dogs & people and there is a separate small dog area. Location: Mayfield Drive (dead ends into park). Directions: 471 to Ft. Thomas/Grand Ave. Go East past St. Luke’s Hospital. Turn left at the BP onto Highland Ave. and follow this curvy road for about 2 miles. Turn left on Mayfield shortly after the flashing stoplight. Follow Mayfield all the way back through the park and the dog park is in the very back of the park.
